Kalafa "Vision and Proud" Black Sweater designed by Ibrahima Bah

Kalafa is the name of a village that I grew up in. 350km from the capital of Guinea, the village is known for it's natural beauty and strong sense of community, but unfortunately the children of this village lack infrastructure such as drinking water, education, and basic materials. Despite these challenges, our community focuses on education and more than 56% of the children from this village reach the third national exam (the equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Guinea).

For each sweater I sell, all of the proceeds will go back to my village to be reinvested in education supplies for younger children like notebooks, textbooks, and writing equipment. I hope you like the design and look forward to receiving this sweater when they arrive in January.
